This is a workshop to help you grow your narratives into stories. 

The nature and essence of stories is not something that can be isolated and examined apart. It is not an equation, recipe or formula. Every time we try to define an aspect of a story, there is something else that elude us. That's why we need a method. That's why we employ filters.In this workshop we will examine the nature and essence of stories. We will try to take an in-depth look at their traits and characteristics. By reading and looking at stories through specific filters, different aspects of them will be illuminated uder a special light. We will understand things in a particular way. The deep understanding and incorporation of the method above will help us, in time, to "grow" and structure our own narratives into stories.

The workshop includes:

• Presentation of theory in our specific method of filters.
• Studying and analysing important short stories and parts of novels through specific "filters".
• Analysis, editing and feedback on your work in progress.

Our groups are very small (max. 5 participants) and so, there is a constant interaction with the tutor.

The workshop takes place in Ixelles Brussels, or online on Zoom, once a week or 15 days.

Price : 30 € per session of 60 minutes (90 minutes if more than 2 participants)
