At Bee Writing, we work with educational, cultural and community organisations to design and facilitate participatory creative writing and storytelling projects.

Our workshops and projects are developed around the needs of each group, the context in which we work and the goals of each collaboration.

Our Approach

We use creative writing and storytelling as ways to explore experiences, share perspectives and connect with others.

Through guided writing activities, individual reflection and group exchange, participants are invited to find their own words, listen to different voices and explore ideas together.

No previous writing experience is required. Our activities can be adapted to different ages, backgrounds and levels of writing experience.

What We Can Develop Together

Collaborations may take different forms, including:

• Participatory writing projects with communities

• Collaborative literary projects, publications and installations

• Creative writing workshops exploring identity, place, memory and belonging

• Creative writing programmes for schools and educational organisations

Each project is developed in dialogue with the partner organisation, from the initial idea to the design and facilitation of the activities.
